Speaker who won over Lambeth Conference comes to Harrogate

When the Archbishop of Canterbury wanted a speaker who would appeal to 650 bishops from five continents this summer, he called on Brian McLaren, an American evangelical, the founding pastor of Cedar Ridge Community Church, a prolific author, and an internationally recognised contributor to post-modern thought and culture.

This month the rest of the church has a chance to hear why he went down so well which such a diverse audience, when he visits Pavilions on Harrogates Showground for two afternoon and one evening seminar on December 10th. 

Under the title “Uncovering the Truth that could change everything”, Dr McLaren will be speaking three times. In the afternoon his subject is, “Spiritual formation in the emerging culture“,  and in the evening he speaks on “A wholehearted gospel”.
