Celebrating new ministries

Six men and women have entered into new ministries in the diocese following their ordination as deacons on Sunday July 4th in Ripon Cathedral. Please pray for them.

Ordinands at Ripon Cathedral

Helen Bailey Helen Bailey. Helen previously worked as a teacher. She trained at Westcott House, Cambridge and will serve her title post with Revd Nicholas Henshall at Harrogate High, Christchurch.
Anthea Colledge

Anthea Colledge. Anthea previously worked within the NHS and Social Services. She trained at Cranmer Hall, Durham and will serve her title post with Revd Kingsley Dowling at Wortley de Leeds.

Sue Rusholme

Sue Rusholme. Sue is Assistant to the Director of Mission and has a son and a daughter. She trained on the Northern Ordination Course and will serve her title place with Revd David Robinson at Chapel Allerton.

Tessa Stephens

Tessa Stephens. Tessa previously worked as an Events Manager. She is married to Gerard and they have one daughter. Tessa trained at St John’s College, Nottingham and will serve here title place with Revd Jan Kearton at Hipswell

Dorthy Stewart

Dorothy Stewart. Dorothy previously worked as a University Lecturer in Midwifery and Nursing. She has two sons. Dorothy trained at The College of the Resurrection, Mirfield and will serve her title place with Revd David Stevens at Potternewton.

David Young

Dave Young. Dave previously worked as a Pastoral Assistant at St George’s, Leeds. He is married to Jo and they have a new baby son. Dave trained at Cranmer Hall, Durham and will serve his title place with Revd Arani Sen at Upper Armley.
